Winnie Mui is an American-born Chinese physician with an interest in Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine, General Practice and Paediatrics. She is fluent in English and Cantonese.
Winnie obtained her Bachelor of Science (Nursing) from New York University in 1988 and later, a medical degree from the University of Hong Kong in 1997. This was followed by a six year Paediatric residency in Hong Kong. Through further study, she acquired a Master’s degree in Administrative Medicine in 2005, a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine in 2007, and a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine in 2010 from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Anti-Aging from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
As well as being a licensed Medical Doctor in the UK and Hong Kong, she is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates in the US.
In addition, she has completed certification for Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Designation by the FAA is currently in process. She is an active provider (until Feb 2014) for Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for the American Heart Association.
Aesthetic Medical Procedures
Winnie has numerous years of experience in a variety of Aesthetic Medical injections of botulinum toxin (Botox and Dysport) and dermal fillers (including Juvederm, Teosyal, and Sculptra). She provides procedures for the G-Shot (G-Spot Amplification), PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and sclerotherapy treatments for the removal of spider veins. Moreover, she has had extensive training in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and the US with chemical dermal peels, laser equipment and Korean Threading (also known as 4D Threading).
